I need to take my car to a place today to get it looked at.  My steering wheel suddenly got really difficult to turn, and I know that is most likely just that it needs more power steering fluid.  However, there have been some other noises which my dad said might be a broken belt or something like that.  So I'm just going to bring it over and have it looked at, per his suggestion.

I hate mechanics, though.  Since I know shit about cars and am fucking awful with haggling and all things related, they can screw me over super hardcore if they wanted to.  They just kind of make me super nervous and awkward and it is another anxiety thing that I just don't like dealing with.  Which is why when I'm at home, I have someone else take care of the car stuff for me, or usually my dad will come with me and do all the talking and stuff.

But I really should get up and go, though.

And since I have no one to drive me back I guess I can bring some work and do my paper and stuff while waiting for them to finish.

I do need to say forget it if something besides the steering fluid is wrong and it costs a lot of money, since I have plans on maybe getting a new car this summer (which is kind of sad...I'm very attached to Cornelius).  So I don't want to invest a whole lot of money in a repair that is only going to last for a few more months.


I have a headache.  Lame.
