It has been 1 year today since I officially brought Callie home and I could not have asked for a better pup. She has been my rock more than a few times, as well as my reason for getting up during some mornings where all I wanted to do was nothing. When I wanted to stop, when I had no regard for my health or my life, she would be there, reminding me how important I was to her. Not wanting to abandon her was a major reason why I kept moving. She is my best friend and most loyal companion, and I would not trade her or the past year for anything.
Callie face, you saved me and I love you more than I even thought I could.
And I look forward to many more years with you.
